Education Future Fund Project

 The School of Health Sciences applied for the “Connected Remote Islands and Develop educational environment on remote islands and remote areas, which is one of the issues facing Okinawa Prefecture. Support project for disaster prevention education for Izena junior high school students through distance learning using ICT such as wearable cameras” was accepted

 This is an initiative related to the creation of island health education and research stronghold promoted by the School of Health Sciences.

 In Izena Village, most of children leave the island when they enter high school and expects the young power of junior high school students as disaster prevention leaders to protect the island.

 In cooperation with Izena Junior High School, University of the Ryukyus Faculty of Medicine, School of Health Sciences will contribute to the community regarding the training of disaster prevention leaders
